Quotes from the Guest book
“Cuale land oh Cuale land,
Where the mood is always jolly,
It happens thanks to Molly,
For she puts us all at ease.
Happiness is something found,
On the banks of Rio Caule,
With our loving Molly,
She’s the hostess,
With the mostest,
Who is always bound to please.”

"Unique Stay in PV"
We spent two weeks at La Casa del Puente in '96. This is a private villa owned by Molly Muir, a long-time PV resident and relative of the American naturalist John Muir. Her home is right on the Rio Cuale, visible from the bridge that takes traffic northbound on Insurgentes. Access to her villa is through the kitchen of the restaurant La Fuente del Puente. Molly lives in a self-contained suite on the top floor. The rest of the villa has been converted into 3 apartments....ours was a large one with a separate bedroom, large bathroom, full kitchen and separate dining area and a huge open-air living room/patio overlooking the river.....all beautifully furnished. She negotiated a rate that compared favourably with the budget hotel we were going to stay at. The place was kept spotless by Molly's "major domo", with fresh linensand towels, etc. We learned of La Casa del Puente in Lonely Planet. For a really unique experience....one that simply cannot be duplicated staying in a regular hotel... we heartily recommend La Casa del Puente.
